Despite the high hopes placed on Google, Pixel’s 2 XL performance has been repeated. After the “Burning Screen”, “sparse oil layer early off”, “slow charging” and other hardware problems, the machine’s quality control was again questioned. This time the problem is still related to the screen. According to a user in the Pixel community forum, his Pixel 2 XL screen appears to have many “mute points” on either side, unable to give consistent feedback on the continuous click operation. Awkwardly, the slide operation does not seem to be affected by the problem.
To prove how serious the problem is, the owner has specifically released a test video. Fortunately, Google seems to be aware of the problem.
A community administrator replied: “The team has started to investigate the matter and is expected to be repaired in a future OTA update.”
